The National Park Gate in Rurberg is the ideal starting point for exploring the directly adjacent Eifel National Park on foot, by bike or by boat.
The Rursee-Touristik team welcomes every visitor and always has tips for a great hike, bike tour and excursions ready to explore the diverse adventure region of the Eifel National Park. It is possible to stock up on sufficient maps and information so that nothing stands in the way of a perfect excursion. By the way, the associated shop invites you to quarry. Here everyone will find a nice souvenir for themselves or a gift that reminds them of a visit to the Eifel National Park region. Free WiFi is also available.
The exhibition at the National Park Gate with the theme "Lifelines of Nature" makes the habitats of flowing and still waters tangible, among other things from the flight perspective of a kite. Crayfish, pearl mussels and beavers show the importance of the Eifel National Park for people and nature. A visit is the perfect start to find out more about the national park. Entry is free.
Every Saturday at 11:00 a.m., a 3-4 hour ranger tour through the National Park Eifel begins at the National Park gate. Participation is free of charge.
